Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Azhni is a school communication platform operated as a multi-tenant service. Each school is a separate private workspace. The school is the data controller for its student records; Azhni acts as the data processor.

2. What we collect

• Account data: name, email, phone number, preferred language, role.
• School data: classes, subjects, teacher assignments, student records and roll numbers.
• Daily activity: attendance, homework, learning updates, exams, announcements, feedback.
• Security data: audit logs of who created or changed records, and when.

3. Children's data

Student records are created by the school, not by children. Students who sign in can only see their own records. We do not run advertising and we do not profile children.

4. How data is isolated

Access rules are enforced in the database itself. A user of one school cannot read or write another school's data, regardless of what the interface requests.

5. Retention

Records are retained for the school's active academic years. When a school leaves the platform, its data is deleted or exported within 30 days on request.

6. Your rights

Parents and adult students may request access, correction or deletion of records through their school administrator. See the Data Deletion page for the process.
